I Said I Wouldn't Do This!

Ok, I was talked into creating a blog to showcase my creativity. I have been resisting this for far too long, but now is the time to finally get the ball rolling.

So here goes. Come with me on my journey into creativity.

A Superman Layout

I've not done any layouts in a while and I'm really behind in scrapbooking all of my pictures.  At this rate, I'll never catch up.  Hopefully, my unemployment will be ending soon and I can become a productive working citizen once again.  But in the meantime, I'll continue to do my crafting.

I had printed these pictures of my grandson's 5th birthday party and they were staring at me saying... please make a layout and put them in my book.  LOL!  So I did.  It still needs the journaling done, but I didn't want to post all of that on here for the world to see.

I got an SCAL image of superman from http://mardenz.blogspot.com/ and pieced him out.  Not a bad job.
I used Disney Hannah Montana Cricut Cartridge for the wording.  It was pop dotted off the page.  I used my Signo white pen and drew in some lines for a bit of an effect.
Paper used was Bazzill card stock and the patterned paper .... I believe was a Making Memories paper (4th of July).  It went very well with the color theme.

  1. Hi, Helen. You do not have to publish this message. I just wanted you to know I got your message and I left a response on my blog under the same post "OMG!!! I've Got Another Blog Award". Go back to that post, click on the comments to view all comments, and I've left instructions there. It's basically copying the picture of the award from my post; pasting and saving it your hard drive, and then inserting it from "NEW POST" on your blog layout. Just like you would do to insert your craft pictures to your blog. If you still need help, let me know and I'll try to walk you through it some way again. I hope this helps! Anyway, the directions are posted under that Post.

  3. Helen, just fantastic! Did you miss my post about how you did the title stitching? If it was a sowing machine, don't even tell me.

  4. Cassie, I did miss your post. I used a white Signo pen for the faux stitching.
